TIME TRAVEL
#Who knows what the future holds for#us? I certainly don't, I'm not sure$if anyone else does, either. Yet, if"time-travel was developed we could
access this information in an%instant, and it is that that concerns
me. I have already dismissed
time-travel into the past as#impossible - why have we never been!visited by people from the future#before if it will ever exist? No, I
think that the only sort of"time-travel feasible would take us"into the future, and I still don't$think that it is very likely that we$will ever see that developing. To be
frank, I don't want it to be"'invented'. It could cause so many#complications that the entire world"could just turn into a nightmarish#scenario. What, for instance, would#happen if you travelled to the time
of your death, and you watched%yourself dying? You could make a note of the time and place, then make$sure that you never go to that place%in your entire life, being especially!vigilant around the time that you"noted down. In this way, you would"not die like you had seen yourself#die, and therefore that part of the!future could never have happened,"making your apparent visit also an#impossibility. You could argue that!no matter what you do, fate would"drag you to that spot at the right
time, but I don't believe that.!Nothing can 'make' you go to that#place if you don't want to, surely. So, it now seems to me that even$time-travel to the future looks like
it could not happen due to the"complexities of it all. I would be#very surprised to see it discovered$in my lifetime, at least. However, I think one thing not yet invented#which could save the plight of this#planet is matter transportation. It!would do away with most vehicles,!reducing pollution immensely, and#saving lives of those who would die%in transport accidents. I see no real%reason why it could not be developed,#but again, I don't expect to see it#within the next 500 years (not that!I'll still be around by then). No$doubt some physicists would disagree%with me, and show me a calculation or#fifty proving that it is impossible%for a particle to be removed from one$spot and instantaneously be replaced in another, but I'd still not be
convinced by it. No matter what anyone thinks, no-one knows what"could happen in the future, and as$yet, I don't think anyone ever will.%What about you? Maybe you could write"an article about your views on the topic, I'd be interested to read them. That's it for now, see you
